Roberto Clemente "The Great One" was the first Caribbean baseball player to be inducted into the Hall of Fame as well as many other accolades. After beginning his career with the Brooklyn Dodgers, he was traded and spent the rest of his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates. His life was unfortunately cut short when his plane crashed on a philanthropy mission. Clemente is still remembered as one of the greatest baseball players of all time and as a wonderful person.
